Account Deletion

1. Delete in the app

Sign in to ShyAI, open Profile, choose Privacy and account, then choose Delete account. Confirm with the requested password or re-authentication step.

Deletion remains available if you refuse advertising consent, exhaust the reply quota, or do not accept a new policy version.

2. Request deletion outside the app

If you cannot open or sign in to the app, send a request from the email registered to your ShyAI account. Include your account email. Do not send your password, verification code, chat text, or identity document unless support explains why more verification is required.

We may ask you to verify control of the account email to prevent unauthorized deletion.

3. What deletion does

• anonymizes account identity and makes the original email reusable;
• revokes active and refresh sessions;
• removes one-time tokens, blocks, consent records, and generated exports;
• blanks owned character prompts, conversation messages, and report details;
• schedules avatar media for physical deletion; and
• records a limited tombstone so restored backups cannot resurrect erased data.

This action is intended to be permanent. Export anything you want to keep first.

4. Timing and exceptions

Access is revoked as the deletion transaction completes. Deleted personal content is purged from active systems within 7 days.

ShyAI may retain minimum audit, security, fraud-prevention, legal-hold, or transaction evidence required by law or needed for legal claims. These records do not restore the account or deleted content.
